Follow-up: 1st 2011 MBC Scholarship Walk/Run Committee Meeting held Jan. 27, 2011

Note: This private email has been
converted to an open letter.

Greetings Everyone,

First, I would like to apologize to every individual that received the previous email regarding the 1st 2011 Morris Brown College Scholarship Walk-A-Thon meeting as a very late notice.

That being said, the meeting went very well. The 2010 Chairman of MBC Scholarship Walk-A-Thon (Richard Johnson) gave me the opportunity to present a brief presentation on how we can "RAISE UP TO" 11 million dollars (USD) to support the students, as well as, the schools of Morris Brown College.

Furthermore, I want to thank Charrisse "Revv" Miles, Chaplain & Community Relations Chair of FrontRunnerz MC, Inc. for recommending FreeConference.com to perform conference call-ins.

We had 150 lines 'available & open' for Thursday, Jan. 27, 2011 from 4:45 pm to 6:40 p.m.

Nevertheless, we want to thank the President of Morris Brown College, Dr. Stanley Pritchett for dropping in briefly to speak with us while in route to his own 'State of the Union Speech' for Morris Brown College.

Furthermore, a motion was placed on the table, second, and approved; to revert back to 7K Route which goes from Morris Brown College through downtown Atlanta to Big Bethel AME Church (The birthplace of this great institution) and back again.

Note: The 2011 MBC Scholarship Walk/Run is scheduled to be held on September 10, 2011.

Nevertheless, I'm NOT going to reveal all the discussions that went on in this meeting, but it was my understanding that Morris Brown College is in the process of re-applying for their accreditation, as of December 2010.

Furthermore, the ideal approach to drawing Avid Walkers and Runners; is to get this event sanctioned by the U.S. Track & Field organization, similar to how the long standing Peachtree Road Race is currently setup.

Alright, that being said, Thursday February 3rd, 2011 at 5:00 p.m.; another meeting will be held in the Board of Trustees Conference Room of the Administration Bldg. next to the President's Office of Morris Brown College for the 2011 MBC Scholarship Walk / Run. (For more information, call me (404) 348-8319 & leave a message.)

Also, 150 telephone lines will be open to listen in by phone from 4:45 PM EST to 6:40 PM EST. Note: This call-in number has a Kentucky Area Code, so we suggest that you call the number utilizing a free long distance cell phone service.

Furthermore, if you would like to Sponsor the Call-in Conference Call for the 2011 MBC Scholarship Walk / Run Committee to show your support in helping Morris Brown College, which could be considered a 'Tax Write Off or Contribution' toward MBC as duly noted, holla at a Brother ASAP. LOL ( This is a FACT.)

However, here is the information on how to call-in. Please call in, even if you can only listen for 15 minutes or less. I recommend you call 15 minutes after 5:00 p.m. if you planning on listening for a few minutes:

Date: Thursday, February 03, 2011
Dial-in-Number: 1-270-696-1555 (Kentucky Area Code)
Number of Participants: 150
Start Time: 4:45 PM EST
End Time: 6:40 PM EST
Access Code to Meeting: 9649427

Thank you in advance for your consideration.

Metro PCS, OMG! What's Really Going On?

You know, it is my job to talk up a storm when it comes to useful technology. At no time should I utilize any cuss words when discussing technology. But, Metro PCS Customer Service, OMG (Oh My God), what is really going on?

On Facebook, within my private account, I've been known for making provocative comments while temporarily losing my mind as a President and CEO. I can hear somebody saying right now, "Oh C. Henry is trying to use that temporary insanity plea, yeah right, we know you Krazy. LOL" Nevertheless, realizing what I've said; we tend to erase the statement minutes later.

Well recently, I was chatting with some of my females classmates about an issue where their profile picture appeared to mysteriously change. During the conversation, a young lady suggested that Facebook themselves were actually changing the profile pictures through some sort of glitch found with Metro PCS Cell Phones that actually access the Internet.

Now, like all good researchers, we tried to confirm a conversation between a Customer of Metro PCS and the company by calling 1.888.863.8768 first, then calling 1.888.863.8768 second after 8:30 p.m. EST on a Saturday Night January 22, 2011 to no avail.

WOW! All we got was an automated machine voice that constantly lied to us about getting a "Live" person on the line. Now, if there is a glitch with Metro PCS phone and Facebook Profile Pictures changing on their own, we can't confirm or deny it.

But, we can confirm that Metro PCS should do a better job informing their customers that nobody is at "Home" to help them, instead of sending them on a wild goose chase.

What do you think?
